Excuses, excuses

There is something wonderfully amusing about Hazel Blears. I can't help liking her.

  1. She is the definition of the utter uselessness of people who cashed in on Britain's class war: they are totally at sea when the rug gets pulled out from under them. They sit alone in a room realising they are totally useless, an eater who eats tax money. It would be amazing if she decided to actually undertake a real career and do something for humanity.

  2. I know, I know....but there is still something wonderful about her.

  3. She should be in music hall and not politics where she's been promoted way WAY beyond her talents to the great detriment of this country.

Such contrition amounts to the fact that she can now see that she's burned her bridges and that there's not much call for her outside 'the village.' This is a pity seeing that bridges make such good habitat for nasty little trolls.

She's going to be taking Michael Portillo's place on the couch and all manner of other TV shows !

  5. I wonder if Blears will wear her brooch to the CLP meeting :-)

  6. Hazel Blears is like all the women in the labour government, completely out of their depth. Although Ms Blears was not the worst, the hopeless Jacqui Smith takes that crown. How can such a individual be selected for Home Secretary was beyond me.
