    I think not.

    Finance tries to devour other people's money...


    ...especially where it is gathered in large accumulations.

    ...Lloyds Spiral, Savings and Loan, Enron (--demise of Abbey), the rapid disappearance of TSB's cash mountain, sub-prime...

    All these cost YOU money; the financiers did fine.
